The Red Queen
Scarlet orbs adorn her flawless, porcelain face
Her garments, muted by time, appear an ashen-gray
The Red Queen, resplendent amongst this hellish place
A rose within massive fields of horrid decay
Of all the maidens to endure a curse alone
She endures the suffering as she bides her time
Knowing soon marks the season that she may return
To a semblance, of a former life, so sublime
Stolen from the Mortal World, life torn asunder
Her departure marks the death of beautiful things
A life abruptly changed like a clap of thunder
Sorrow overtakes her, the Bell of Hades, rings!
