October

It's still 82 in October
And I've seen the best of my band of Goblins laid to waste
By mice and malice. Vice and callous creatures from the aurora borealis
Dripping down, skipping town, eating tunnels through the firmament
These "Beings of Light" mock the monsters of the night
And swear their white blight isn't permanent

There's a garden in me
That all the seedless see
Let the reapers reap
There's a garden in me

The rain stats falling, it's always wet this time of year
And I'm stuck crawling through the thick, acidic mud
As ghosts of fallen trees appear. In this blood and birthright
Crux and curse fight to the death, so we will make our presence known
Take flesh from bone, our kingdom come til our last breath

Feast on heroes, sew discord
Harvest our infernal rewards
Beasts of burden, hide in shadow, wait your turn
Be the last bodies to burn

There's a garden in me
That all the seedless see
Let the reapers reap
There's a garden in me
