A Cloud for Your Cloud

He's just a money maverick
Stocks and bond beating the average
Palatial halls and marbled gold
An indoor fountain beyond the threshold
Bargain jargon and elephant rides
Stocking up on formaldehyde
For a quiz show on taxation
We hit a new level we called it starvation
We're at a turnpike oceanside
Just so delicate to be celibate
Choose a better stride
Hide in the hidden closet
Babydoll you're down the hall
By the lava lamp with your tramp stamp
And a government grant
Out on another rant to plant plans
Reorganize the clans with spray on tans
And eager hands rubbing up models
Who coddle bottles
And plunge thigh-deep into thigh meat
Then meet and great a black sheep
On black street with a backbeat
The lines are neat but the colors shift
In murky mist with a tiny twist
Just give her a kiss and lift us out
A cloud for your cloud making us proud
In headquarters with open borders
And brick and mortar and you're sort of
Sordid and she's morbid
And we've sorted the stories
Into chapters start with raptors
Back into actors then finish the crackers
Then crack up and crack down
And crack codes and crack bones
We suppose you're coming home
Here's your rose dipped in gold
Always bored or so we're told

You're giving her a call in early fall
When you fall apart at a mini mart
Pushing a cart into a stack of jack
And crates of gin and liquid sins
Slumped next to a mannequin
You're banned again you just won't win
Tired of trying picking at siding
Days colliding back in the basement hiding
TV dinner dining through winter
Your psyche splinters your mentor venting
Your funds pending your ascent ending
Then back down into a world renowned spiral
Your vlogs going viral as they compile
Into a stockpile and we swap files
Once in a while from our exile
Then reemerge like southern birds
You take a quarter we'll take two thirds
In other words it's closing time
So wipe the grime and uncork the wine
Maybe moonshine or a land mine
Another white line you feel confined
So pay your fine and we'll recombine
Into a new monster with slaughtered honor
At a concert out on the water
You do the lifting I'm the spotter
But I'm drifting hard to the courtyard
Because I heard a sound and asked around
At our common ground that's burning down
Until we're standing in ashes
And we're out of chances
We lost the magic, ran out of rations
Guess we're grasping it's some kind of action
