Learning to Breath Underwater

Every single time that I peak
From the corner of my eyes hoping that they will leave
but I'm haunted by the vision of demons I can't release
I guess I'm driven by the promise that work will bring me some peace
Yet I'm plagued with a lust for leisure I never reach
Because I have a problem with trying to live the way I preach
Having given into the realization I have to breathe
Underwater to filter toxins
I may never leave
Probably tough for you
But seclusion's easy for me
Rather just kick it with the fish
and the coral in the reef
The sharks and the teeth are more simple to dodge than the arc and the heat
The targeted beef the marketed greed
The mark of the beast
We're all marked for disease
When we beg for release
Never cutting our own keys

Because words are easier than actions
