Composure I (intro)

O you possessed of sturdy intellect

Some nights I wake up in disbelief from the dreams I've had
She tells me they won't be scary if I sing them to her
When the earth is quaking beneath my feet and reality crumbles before my eyes
I learnt that my perceptions are first to fool me in a world of fools
And the darkened reality I face can only be overcome through the one precious asset we have
In order to control our surroundings
We have been in a crisis for 2000 years, not since 2008
Today, there's No time for drama, critics or confusion, but its time for alcohol, ethanol
To rinse my crocodile skin in the hope that besides all the rights & wrongs I've done
Somebody prays for me, for us
When thoughts become elliptical and cryptic, it's time to regain control
It's time for composure.
