Oh the hustle and the bustle
Leaves me feeling I should rustle
Up a couple of cups of nog to soothe the nerves
There's no amount I could have spent
That would accurately represent
The plethora of presents you deserve
Still I find myself out shopping
And at every store I'm stopping
I see no gifts that have my love imbued
So I come back to our home
Where we both can be alone
Because every day is Christmas with you

There's a sea of grumpy faces
As I notice what replaces
The warmth and love the season used to bring
The tree may lose its luster
While we flitter and we fluster
Why not offer smiles instead of golden rings?
We make our lists and check them twice
But I think I'll roll the dice
To paint the holiday bright instead of blue
Let's stoke the embers in the fire
As we cuddle and conspire
Knowing every day is Christmas with you

There are carols and barrels
Of wintry whiskey
The ice is all too risky
For a sleigh ride on this night
The mistletoe is hung and among us
We notice the snowflakes will float us
To a place of delight

We've had trials and tribulations
But in this time of jubilation
We could stop the clock and talk of what we love
The spirit is still here
And it comes just once a year
But each day we have together is enough
So let's throw away the wrappings
And let go of all the trappings
That divert us from what we know is true
For the snow may come and go
