Post Eden

Clouds are just like dreams floating by the sky blue mind
And it may have been naïve to think I'd stay here all the time
A place I could hang up all my troubles for a while
And go back to the time of a long forgotten child

Fabrics falling into pieces, holding onto something that's long gone
Rearrange my disposition, no one told me that I was long gone
But I take a look around me, to a place I do not know
All these unfamiliar faces, they all seem to come and go
But I escape to a world where better days are nothing
But the consciousness I know

And in this state of mind, I'm flooded with a new perception
And the fabric of all space and time creates my new conception
Stepping foot on planet 9, discovering the fifth season
But I'm basking in the afterglow of Eden

Fabrics falling into pieces, holding onto something that's long gone
Rearrange my disposition, no one told me that I was long gone
But I take a look around me, to a place I do not know
All these unfamiliar faces, they all seem to come and go
But I escape to a world where better days are nothing
But the consciousness I know
