A Little Mushroom

The Sun sprang a life, on the Autumn floor
The reeds sang and laughed, all mourn
My path was taken to the boggy shore
I sat amongst life, beauty and more

A little mushroom spoke to me
It said "forget about all your past dreams"
And It showed me the vibrancy between all things
This is what the mushroom taught to me

Waves and waves seep, from every pore
Shadows of memories, on my floor
A hundred faces argued, in the clouds
I took to song, a lark whistled loud

A sound from camp, triggered alarm
Would I ever escape, the farm?
Deep memories echo from time
A mother's love, felt in sunshine

A little mushroom spoke to me
It said "forget about all your past dreams"
And It showed me the vibrancy between all things
This is what the mushroom taught to me
