A Dog in the Wind

Moon rise wind in the trees
Soft eyes smiling at me
Cast off cold to the bone
Warmth of the sunrise guiding me home
Bird song calling to you
Dancing to the music in all that you do
The valley the mountains of stone
It's there that you found me when I was alone

Now after all that I've been through
I'm left to wander like a dog in the wind who
Wonders at lightning and thunder
Whole world to discover but I'm searching for you

Your eyes looking at mine
You lead and I follow behind
Our path set by the breeze
Light as a feather floating and free

Now after all that we've been through
We're left to wander like dogs in the wind who
Wonder at thunder and lightning
Although they're frightening
It's so exciting inviting
Calling us all to delight in the thrill of it
