Marble Stone

The water's like a marble stone
My feet slice through the black
Suspended on this weightless dome
I shiver as the sharp light shines, a fractured tremolite

The sun is swallowed by the lake
I sink my head below
I'm cradled by it's cool embrace
The water trickles round my thoughts they soften and scream no more

In the nothing I'm close to you
In the silence you hear it too

I need to face this time alone
I'm tired of all the words I'm given scraping down my back
Just let me sink below this conscious island
Let me find the place where you reside
When the music burns my senses, the white noise is a beautiful sound

In the nothing I'm close to you
In the silence you hear it too
