Grandma's House

The coffee's made with gracious care
The door wide open, well aware of company
I'm happy at
Grandma's house

A bowl of grapes is always out
The Christmas tree is tall and round
It feels like the 50's at
Grandma's house

Whenever I catch that smell
Or hear a tale of glory
I know she's paying me a visit
Through cedar and stories

The upright beckons me inside
Family portraits left and right
I'm tethered to this place and time at
Grandma's house

We'll climb up to the balcony
Or join the dining room for tea
Just be wherever you may be at
Grandma's house

Whenever I catch that smell
Or hear a tale of glory
I know she's paying me a visit
Through cedar and stories

Oo
Oo
Oo

Whenever I catch that smell
Or hear a tale of glory
I know she's paying me a visit
Through cedar and stories

The quiet ticking of a clock
Takes me back to Grandma's house
I close my eyes and see her smile
Please stay in my mind for a while
It's been some time
I miss your eyes

Oo
Oo
Oo
