July Skies

Cold in July, She looks for someone to warm Her
Gazing at the Sky, counting the stars hanging over

The never ending questions that She has, are set free

While across the border, He is waiting there patiently
His mind gone, and wandered, through the pages of history

Tired of being alone, He shuts the page

Her day, it went on, normal except for the weather
The sun it prolonged, it's light so that She could stumble-upon

A soul just as lost as Herself, She found Me

He gazed at an angel, arms out wide, eyes like a south sea
Afraid but still able, He asked if She'd stay for a memory

A tale like She never heard before
Unfurled between Them, no one more

The rest is Love

He had an answer to all the questions She could conceive
While She brought a wonder, to Him he never would've seized
