Survivor's Guilt

Is it everything I could've done
To right the wrongs to those I've loved
Maybe I forgot what it meant
But if it costs too much and I've had enough
Just lay my body still
Because I'd rather die than feel alive
With this survivors guilt

Was it really me
Fighting endlessly
To get back to the place
Of where I'm supposed to be
Well where I am supposed to be

Is it everything I could've done
To right the wrongs to those I've loved
Maybe I forgot what it meant
But if it costs too much and I've had enough
Just lay my body still
Because I'd rather die than feel alive
With this survivors guilt

Was it really me?
Lying through my teeth
To spit right in the face
Of who I'm supposed to be
Well who am I supposed to be?

Is it everything I could've done
To right the wrongs to those I've loved
Maybe i forgot what it meant
But if it costs too much and I've had enough
Just lay my body still
Because I'd rather die than feel alive
With this survivors guilt

As my body aches
The screams and shakes
They all come back too real
Sometimes I'd rather die
Than feel alive with this survivors guilt
