(Out to Lunch) On Vacation

The signs say, "Out to lunch", I say, "I'm on vacation"
I never have the time when I've got motivation
Keep myself in check, use up what I can get

Excitement comes with risk, I say that sounds horrendous
Don't wanna pass the time, I guess I learned my lesson
Skillful once again, but clumsy nonetheless

Genetically ingenerous, but physically incapable
Of ever having much to give, I'm generally superfluous
I don't know what the problem is, but all I ever seem to be
Is in the way when I wanna help

It just doesn't matter if I win or lose
Whether it's a birthmark or a recent bruise
Whether it was meant for me or, I had the right to choose
Where I stand is where I'll stand
Until I decide to move

The signs say, "Out to lunch", I say, "I'm on vacation"
I never have the time when I've got motivation
