This horizon's longing
Watch the stars all flash and fade
This abyss the bang has made
I've aeons on my side
Stretch my vessel so long
Thin to see the suns are bursting
Has this judgment strung me out enough
Where did my time go?

Onto deeper space
Where I'll be a stranger

A past that lies before my eyes
Future-tense is where I went

You're all that's on my mind
Paths that lead to doorways
Cross that threshold in my dreams
Lock and key, did you need me to tell
Of all that I might find

Within future space

A perfect place, with a newer dream
I can see that the grass is green
A brighter shade, so fresh and clean
