Directions
Today we're gonna learn the cardinal directions
Using the cardinal directions helps us know the location of a place
Are you guys all ready
Let's begin
I've got a map but I am a bit confused
It's something that I've never used
What does North and South mean
East and west are the same in between
Awww I don't get it
Ohh hold on, I will help you with the map
Come sit with me, let's have a look at that
This is our country, beloved USA
Let's learn the directions, what do you say
Yes please
Put your finger on the map, move it straight ahead
This is called north where Canada is spread
North is also known as the top of the world
Where ice is floating, it's called the north pole
So much ice there
Put your finger on the map, move it to your right
This is called East, you got that? All right
The Atlantic ocean and Africa is to our East
And other great places just like these
Wow our world is so big
Put your finger on the map, move it to your left
I think you know it already, it is called West
Look over here, there's Hawaii on the left
Pineapples from there are just the best
Yay, yummy and juicy pineapples from the West
Put your finger on the map, move it back
This is called South, did you get that
Mexico is our friend and it is to our South
Their food is so tasty, it melts in your mouth
Tacos and salsa, so yummy from the South
There are the four directions, now you know
North, South, East, West, these are all four
North is straight ahead, south at your back
West is to your left and east is to your right
North, South, East, West
The cardinal directions that you now know
Will help you know the locations in the world
So many countries and seas to explore
In the next class, we will learn some more
North, South, East, West I know them Yay
