A New Bloom

Tell me are the two sides of the leaf similar visibly
I see it didn't fall too far from the tree, down it went
A different season that familiar feeling again

Count upon constellations and illusions
Caught in the turning of a new bloom, I lost you
Somewhere between the summer and spring

A smile that made up the days now makes my heart ache
In the eerie wake a dew painted afternoon stained my
Darkened room of gloom

A revealed invisible entity turned to skin for two
An irreversible moonlit discovery it was the beginning
An autumn breeze pushes through again

Over and across me like it did years ago, then
When I couldn't reach her hand and I needed to
In the haze of a new bloom

A memory which consumes me, maroons my mind
Crying she was trying to communicate, I came much too late
So she flew, to you

Everyday further away, observing the rain
Drown the narrow walls of memories, only to break
Through the crevasses, now ruins like yesterday

I pondered on of the images of what we once did
The seeds grew their roots stopped by the hands
Of the shifting sands, the clouds scream, a storm formed

A fragmentation of visions from another mind
Scattered through time and the matter confuses thee
To learn all faces turn away in the tranquility of a new bloom
And so, nothing ever did stop you two
