FLUKE AT THE STATION
I was starting to pick up on the memory
Which had fallen from me, yesterday, really early
I got a pretty solid resistance these days
I don't know
Whatever was floating in the air of this forest was more powerful than a black hole
Anyway, I got outside
Realized winter had arrived
Was absolutely stunned by the majestically view
White blanket covering trees, grass, paths, and all of nature's creation
Except one thing
Water
Looking down, I was faced by my reflection
Exposed on my figure was reality
Memories flooded back, blood froze from the act
What happened last night was terror
After the encounter we had with this prostitute witch
Marguerite might become a mother
Didn't waste no time
Went and bought pregnancy tests hopes of appeasing the minds
Even with the lack of line, still were chills down the spines
A hundred tests a hundred frights, still of a baby no sign
Felt wrong though
So wrong though
Strong feeling that there was something we couldn't know
So we went and did another, and another, and another, and another, and another, and another
And cold colors of the winter started shifting to warm summer
As we traveled all the world looking for an answer
Did another, and another, and another, and another
At a quarter billion negatives still got the jitters
So we ran up this hill, up there against our will
Decided to let go instead of driving us ill
After all this journey, all this ecstasy
Booked a train home enough pain from this tome
Nowhere to hide, too high of a tide
No way to cry, would overflow the dry minds
Arriving at the Darlington railway station
The uncanny feeling just got worst
It consumed us
We thought we'd be moving on, turned out we'd still be haunted, even back home
As we got off the train and began walking towards the exit
Something caught our eyes
On the ground, deep down a dark corner of the station
An unused test
Our eyes instantly locked
It had to be
Who knew, after billions of miles looking for the right answer
It was just under our noses, hometown railway station
The second line appeared
She was pregnant
Which had fallen from me, yesterday, really early
I got a pretty solid resistance these days
I don't know
Whatever was floating in the air of this forest was more powerful than a black hole
