End of the Beginning

Weight of the world is taken off, the shoulders of the youngest
Until they're old enough their worries, are cradled by the old
Lives that are full of misery, are given to the bravest
A desperate embrace it shows, the passion of the bold

At least that's what i've seen, what i've been told

This may not be my day, my week, or month that makes my year
But it doesn't mean that they, are not worth living
Oh no
Letting in the winds of change, makes me want to give a cheer
I can feel it deep within my bones, a fresh start is simply waiting
For us all

Winters kiss is deadly, so be sure to wrap up tightly
Release the guilt that haunts you, 'cos you did all that you could
Spring it brings potential, for all things so please tread lightly
Opportunity presents itself, like you always hoped it would

But it fear it grips you, and you wonder if you should

This may not be my day, my week, or month that makes my year
But it doesn't mean that they, are not worth living
Oh no
Letting in the winds of change, makes me want to give a cheer
I can feel it deep within my bones, that the angels, they are singing
For our souls

The final days of summer, they are savoured when they're given
Last goodbyes from loves ones, are remembered when they're said
Having someone make you smile, can almost feel like heaven
But dream of eternal autumn, are delusions in my head

But at least my dreams are alive, and not dead

This may not be my day, my week, or month that makes my year
But it doesn't mean that they, are not worth living
Oh no
Letting in the winds of change, makes me want to give a cheer
I can feel it deep within my bones, a fresh start is simply waiting
Yeah the angels they are singing. It's the end of the beginning
Don't you know
