New Day's Resolution

I just need one more weekend, I just need one more day
I just need one more reason to push for another delay
I can't do work tonight though, the Kings are playing today
But come tomorrow I'll work extra hard and I'll make it okay

But it's deja vu
And I can promise you
This new day's resolution is already screwed

Oh my god, how could I have been so flawed
How could I let it go this far
It's about time, for a brand new paradigm
I can't take this anymore
All my life, I've been trying
Year by year, now I'm finding
Oh my god I've said this, before

By night I sit relaxing, by day I work in lab
So then by when exactly did I build a life that's nice to have
Tomorrow's always lurking, as a philosophical rehab
But if I'd just kept working by now
I'd have a grammy and some abs

But it's deja vu
And I can promise you
This new day's resolution is already screwed

Oh my god, how could I have been so flawed
How could I let it go this far
It's about time, for a brand new paradigm
Because I can't take this anymore
All my life, I've been trying
Year by year, now I'm finding
Oh my god I've been here, before

I can be a new man
I can be a better person, long as I'm
Still committed I can
And I swear it'll be different this time

I can be a new man
I can be a better person, long as I'm
Still committed I can
But I can promise you
This new day's resolution is already screwed

Oh my god, how could I have been so flawed
How could I let it go this far
It's about time, for a brand new paradigm
Because I can't take this anymore
All my life, I've been trying
Year by year, now I'm finding
Oh my god I've been here, before
Oh my god I've said this, before
I swear by god, I won't procrastinate anymore

Starting tomorrow
