I wake up thinking damn, another day
Sit back searching, there must be another way

Stressed and that's to say the least
Lost ever since I left my home on the east

A big house and fast cars like the ones on the TV

As time passes it moves faster
Moving as if it don't last
Am I stuck in the slow lane
Trying hard but I don't even maintain
Days by quicker than the blink of an eye
I'm confused, I sit back, and I wonder why

I don't pick fights, I finish them

Asking myself why this shit has to happen
