Where I'm Going

I've been down on the corner
I've sat with the kings and the queens
I've been called a rolling stoner
And everything in between
I've seen the dark side of the moon
And a darker side of man
I've been dazed and confused
And never could understand

How where I'm going and where I've been
Always end up the same
I've spent a life full of chasing dreams
That tend to always change
I've never known what path I'm on
And I think that's okay
I just keep on moving along
For the rest of my days

I've been part of the revolution
I've held up my picket sign
I've exhausted all solutions
You can't say I haven't tried
I've seen faces that tell me lies
And faces that tell the truth
I've seen many people come and go
I believe I'm one of them too

Saying where I'm going and where I've been
Always end up the same
I've spent a life full of chasing dreams
That tend to always change
I've never known what path I'm on
And I think that's okay
I just keep on moving along
For the rest of my days
