You heard the new language its sounding pretty cool
It's used when they won't help cause ta' help breaks all the rules
Of sitting in a job where you deliver now
It's called bureaucratese so polite they never shout

So lucky being fobbed off by a man not a machine
Survived the tricky journey numeric labyrinthine
Tick boxes did deter me ticked mister in-between
How do you answer anything you learn officialese
It's code word for don't bother us can't ya see
You're interrupting our work we speak bureaucratese

It spreads around like wildfire all fluent and at ease
Copy pasted reams jargon corporatese
Is catching on so strong there's new dialects to please
All those who take a pay check to speak bureaucratese

Ventriloquist they envy their faceless nameless skill
How do they speak so many words their snout is in the swill
They talk with no breathing that would waste oxygen
Their words give you the runaround slippery as an eel

Make murder sound like nothing it's just officialese
The footie player explains always the same routine

Gettin paid if they don't help you they'll protect your privacy
The public's it's a nuisance and it's never pleased
Want some honest speakin
