Yeah, well high school graduation came, somehow they let me pass

So I loaded up this guitar, put on some boots, and hit the road
To chase that dream to play and sing down there on music road

The next thing I know, couple songs I wrote got me a record deal
And they put 'em out, sent me out to see how it made the people feel
