The sun was shining in my eyes when I woke up in the car
I turned the key and started on home
When I rounded that last corner coming home from the bar
I felt like there was something going horribly wrong

The wind was gently blowing there was a note taped to the door
The sun was high and bright in the sky
There were Walmart bags spilling my clothes out on the porch
I couldn't read the note must be the sun light in my eyes
