Gallimimus

Picture this
I'm off to a running start
Catching speeds
Faster than other dinosaurs
Maybe even 50 kilometers an hour

Once my three weight bearing toes hit it the ground
My strong hind legs propel me around
Carrying my weight that could reach almost a thousand pounds

My long, slender neck makes it easy
Stretching my small head up high to see
With my eyes on the side of my skull
I take in so much around me

Feathered arms at my sides look like wings
I feel practically ready to fly
I'm an ornithomimid
And my name is Gallimimus

"Woah, slow down!"
Nuh-uh, I don't think so
I've got so much to see
There's a whole world waiting for me

"Woah, slow down!"
Nuh-uh, I don't think so
It's a great chase out there
I love zooming around in the open air

Fun fact, I was named after chickens
But I look a lot more like an ostrich
And my long beak is round tipped like a goose's

I was discovered in the land formation Nemegt
In the Gobi desert
During my time there I dashed around river channels, streams and mudflats

"Woah, slow down!"
Nuh-uh, I don't think so
I've got so much to see
There's a whole world waiting for me

"Woah, slow down!"
Nuh-uh, I don't think so
It's a great chase out there
I love zooming around in the open air

Faster than an African wild dog
Faster than a coyote
Faster than a greyhound
Faster than a lion
Faster than a red kangaroo
Faster than a wildebeest
Faster than a white-tailed deer
Faster than a zebra

"Woah, slow down!"
Nuh-uh, I don't think so
I've got so much to see
There's a whole world waiting for me

"Woah, slow down!"
Nuh-uh, I don't think so
It's a great chase out there
I love zooming around in the open air
