Purim Reimagined

In the days, of Mordechai and Esther
In the city of Shushan Habira
The Jews could see impending disaster
Approaching them, looming nearer and nearer
When Mordechai refused to bow it made him wild
The king approved of Human Harasha's evil plot
To wipe us out, every man woman and child
And he chose the date, by randomly drawing lots

But then Venahafochu

We knew without Hashem, we're well and truly beaten
So we cried and prayed, and we sincerely repented
For three days and nights, there was no drinking or eating
The only way this decree could be prevented
And then we saw in front of our open eyes
Haman Harasha hanged, on the gallows he crafted
His evil plots were foiled much to his surprise
And round the world, the Jews were happily laughing

But then Venahafochu
