Sleeping Ruff
Sleeping in the living room
I'm sleeping in the living room
I can't sleep in the office bed
A two room home, too many heads,
I don't know where I went wrong.
Sleeping in the living room
I'm sleeping in the living room
The dog has pushed me off my side,
She wouldn't budge I swear I tried,
At least I won't sleep here for long
The way you follow me's extremely cute
It's not your fault it's what we trained you to do
But at night it'd be nice to go light on the proximity
(So close, so close, so close)
If I get up I know you'll get up too
I wish I didn't have to end your snooze
But your legs on my head and your hair is gonna make me sneeze
(Achoo, achoo, achoo)
Sleeping in the living room
I'm sleeping in the living room
I can't sleep in the office bed
A two room home, too many heads,
I don't know where I went wrong.
Sleeping in the living room
I'm sleeping in the living room
The dog has pushed me off my side,
She wouldn't budge I swear I tried,
At least I won't sleep here for long
The couch is comfortable and fairly wide
As long as I don't try to sleep on my side
If I do then who knows we will see how it goes to the floor
(The floor, the floor, the floor)
We've also got the extra blankets to spare
A couple dozen more if I feel bare,
But I don't cause I'm wrapped like a gyro at the place next door.
(Next door, next door, next door)
My dog is clearly reverent, I sometimes feel she's heaven sent
She's perfect in every way
I had to look up reverent, I mixed it with irreverent
She never would make that mistake.
And even though she punches me and all the hair I have to clean
I would do anything for her
and anything includes...
Sleeping in the living room
(That dog is a good good dog)
I'm sleeping in the living room
(She taught herself to carry sticks as big as logs)
I can't sleep in the office bed
(How lucky are we)
A two room home, too many heads,
I don't know where I went wrong.
(We've got a dog, got a good good dog)
Sleeping in the living room
(That dog is a god damn dog)
I'm sleeping in the living room
(She's a piggy when she eats and she's a selfish blanket hog)
The dog has pushed me off my side,
(How lucky are we)
She wouldn't budge I swear I tried,
At least I won't sleep here for long
(We've got a dog, got a good good dog)
Sleeping in the living room
Sleeping in the living room
Sleeping in the living room
I'm sleeping in the living room
I can't sleep in the office bed
A two room home, too many heads,
I don't know where I went wrong.
