The Premise

Surveillance from the skies
I thought the mission was to rise above the tyrants of disguise
Put pride to the penmanship
Alleviate the lies
Observant of signs I see the skeptic in your eyes
So I'll show you I can fly

Contact was a premise that developed under questions
When I felt my block was vacant but I had so many neighbors
Had to flesh out the villain cause life was so unfulfilling
I felt no love no spark no friction with the human condition
Yea
Broaden my discography and call it an emergency
What I fear is that we're headed down a path of mediocrity
Unable to tell the truth now we cherish forbidden fruit
Advertisement is now in the business of controlling you
However way you slice it these devices are our vices
Cause I couldn't get off the phone while I'm pondering this crisis
Folded we chose to crease as I stare into disbelief
Knowing a part of me it participates willingly

My Mind boggles conversation hollow who to follow
There the answer stood but I don't under the shallow waters
The compromise of authors duality for starters
How we never bridge opposing forces all from the stardust

I hold myself accountable for moments I've divided justified a bunch of bullshit just to regulate the climate
I hold myself accountable believing in your bias that it's too late for the rest of us to see beyond horizons
Look limiting beliefs are the centerpiece to defeat depending on what you believe determines what you will perceive
Something's in the air it's sort of tipping my radar
Intuition says we hold the power of quasars
Bet but in reality what's next problems concentrating I'm not interested at best
Seems that I obsess over opinions of the rest
Isolating myself cause easy to pretend
It's easy to be keyboard warriors in this state of paranoia looking over shoulders trusting absolutely no one
It's easier to feel euphoria broken down into a formula
Brave new world all you ever need is soma
