Girl in the Mirror

The candle flames flicker of the dusty glass
The light is cast askew
I can't quite see what I ought to see
It should be my face, it should be me
The face becomes clear, in clarity
I see it's not what it should be
A girl looks back, her mouth open wide
And her piercing scream pulls me inside

The face in the mirror
She wants to pull you in, possessing, reaching out
The face in the mirror
She needs to take your life, her power, is growing, what is this all about

The glass begins a spiders web
Its surface rent with cracks
The shards fall down one by one
Yet I can not step back

She emerges from the fragments left
And stands in front of me
She lifts her hand and screams once more
And still I cannot flee

I feel her enter my shivering flesh
I must answer her siren call
The last thing I see before I am gone
Is the perfect mirror on the wall

Every person
That looks in the mirror
Becomes part of her strength, her power
Increases
She takes every soul to try and replace her own
But no soul can fit in the body of the damned

The face in the mirror
She wants to pull you in, possessing, reaching out
The face in the mirror
She needs to take your life, her power, is growing, what is this all about

The face in the mirror
She wants to pull you in, possessing, reaching out
The face in the mirror
She needs to take your life, her power, is growing, what is this all about
