I Saw the Light

I saw the light moving under the door
I heard the lock kicking back on itself
I felt a velvet scent of love
Something I could never help
And there you were floating high above the floor
Holding onto an old suitcase I couldn't claim
But that never stopped me before

Revolution may bring good change
But revolving won't make you whole

Radiating background of a dawn
Throwing themselves too thin
Until they're pushing nothing along
Twilight waves dimming out
Satisfying everyone else
But all I see is erupting me
And my sleep will no longer be sound

Parachuting through the birds
A new feeling of never being alone
