Garden Maze

I tended a garden in my head
A maze of you, under stars and sunset
But you weren't present (Present)
You were the crescent (Crescent)
Moon before it became whole

And so I fed you spoons of sugar (Sugar)

But still, when I lay there in the dark
I hear those unconscious remarks

Played in my own fantasy

Weakened roots, losing balance
I let myself down by longing the absence

In the flower beds, a fertilizer
Overgrown out of my future (Ahh)

When everything bloomed for the first time
I kept inside, the gate unkept your old vines
Protecting our seeds by covering more dirt
Even though I was heard, you didn't know how I hurt
When it always hurts
What is it even worth

Yet I love the way your mind works (Love)
The same how you mind my works
I love it here my garden maze
But you've grown past the open gate
To the greener grass above me
