All Aboard

Another day has come the cycle has begun
Where the big yellow one rises to remind
Another day has come the cycle a rerun
So it's up and go at this time to show
I've got things to do that yesterday I knew
But now I'm here it's not so clear
Put on my wrinkled clothes wipe the blurry eyes
And make my way to join the bus ride
All aboard for a ride
In this cycle of life
I do the nine to five keeping it all live
Productive member of society
And in the evening time when the light is low
Put my feet up now and watch the show
But there's no TV on when my mind is wrong
To sit and stare at my reflection
I see a Cockatoo I've got a Cockatoo
Sitting on my shoulder saying how do you do?
All aboard for a ride
In this cycle of life
On my knees is all I know for pushing away the ugly
On my knees is all I know for pushing away the ugly mind
There is no work today I do the rest and play
But I feel my mind going the wrong way
Catch my reflection there trying not to stare
But there's no escaping the other pair of
Eyes on me and sure enough it's true
There is that Cockatoo
He looking straight at me saying what you do?
But watch him fly away as I pray so
All aboard for a ride
In this cycle of life
All aboard for a ride
In this cycle of life
All aboard for a ride
In this cycle of life
