dreams by aditya dias
So I was at work one day, making sandwiches just like every day
And a group of guys came in, they seemed like pretty cool people actually
Like, people I would have wanted to be friends with
Anyways, they seemed really excited about something that had just happened
I'm not really sure what it was, but they kept talking about like
That was crazy or something like that
And it was a group of like four people
And three of them had already paid for their food and everything
They were headed towards the door
But one of them was still paying and he looked at me
While his card was in the reader, and he was just like
Chase your dreams bro
And this was really random, like completely out of nowhere
We hadn't talked other than me asking him
Whether he wanted tomato on his sandwich or not
And these four words have been rebounding around my head since then
Like, what are my dreams?
And that is the reason that I decided to start this podcast
In this podcast, we're gonna try to cover my search for the answers to life
Philosophically, ethically, and lastly, realistically
The first question that we're gonna try to tackle is fairly basic
And it's, what is the point?
The point of being alive, living, the answer to life
To do this, we started out by asking some of our peers what their opinions were
Question one, what do you think is the purpose of life?
