Bouqet of Ink (Acoustic)

Dancing, cartwheels, spin
Through petals of white
You have work soon
I'm still up from the previous night

So the maimed horse
Trampled my corpse
On that old sketchbook page
The dream involved green on the walls
And tweezers approaching my face

So, when the graphite's gone
And the ballpoint is drained
When the clown's holy dots
Fade into beige
Slipping out of key
I'll be singing
About the bouquet of ink

These days, walls of green
Have turned inside out
With two yellow chairs
And a deluxe three seater teal couch

Now! there's a streetlight
In the lot we left in the dust
Yeah, I'd like to think
It was because of us
But I'd rather be where the filter's bubbling
Into the miniature sea

Yeah! I swear to God
There will come a time
When torrents of crimson bull will rain from the sky
When that day comes
You'll be the one
With the pedal and gloves
