I tried to pull your strings
But my clumsy fingers lingered
Too long on the trigger
Before this gets any bigger
I let go

But my better judgement cut in

This year i made a New Year's resolution
To send out all my tentacles and reel in little fishes
I thought courage was a solution
But go fish was never quite my game to play
