A Difference of Opinion
What is the matter today?
Why is there so much hate?
You tell me to be kind
But you're always bitching
With nothing good to say
Does real life exist anymore?
Do actions speak louder than words?
We all fuck up and nobody's perfect
Yet you're still on your high horse
And I'm sorry if my words have offended
But you're wrong because it's not what I intended
I don't care about your approval
We all want to do what we think is right
And I'm tired being at each other's throats
While they're laughing we're a fucking joke
Why can't you see?
The real enemy is them not me
What is the matter with you?
You're so narrow in your views
Humans are complex and just for context
I hate the both of you
Our leaders play us like a game
While the rich give us more of the same
You claim ACAB yet you still police me
In what I feel and think and say
And I'm sorry if my words have offended
But you're wrong because it's not what I intended
I don't care about your approval
We all want to do what we feel is right
And I'm tired being at each other's throats
While they're laughing we're a fucking joke
Why can't you see?
We need to start seeing eye to eye
Because when shit kicks off we need to fight
It's us versus them so pick a side
We've got everything to lose except our pride
Why is there so much hate?
You tell me to be kind

With nothing good to say
