X-Rays

Bought dreams, never got 'em for cheap
Cold world thinking 'bout dropping degrees
Climate still changing, chopping the trees
Poseidon still raging, rocking the seas
And my chronic disease, hold the scars that I can't show
X-rays the bars in my calm flow
Tests made the heart in my art glow
Press save to part when it's Gian's go
X marks the spot in my treasured chest
Only when its peace will I let it rest
I'm better, yet, still searching and still purging
Real surgeons drew close my still curtains
Grateful that I woke from my surgery
Serving me, when I spoke of the perjury
My art is just checking on my traumas
