The Serpent's Chant

His whisper could be heard from the confines
of existential darkness
His silence resounded like war chants and proclamations

As much as the stars of the firmament shone,
the darkness lay in the infinite
No light should be as shining as the Devil's fire

No darkness will be as warm as the primeval emptiness
No poison will be as widespread as the Serpent's Chant

Candle circles made of the rest of lives,
accompanied by barbaric cries
Libations, fumes and poisons permeate the
air, through a dense atmosphere

The dagger must be red-stained and the
chalice must overflow with life
Doors must be opened using internal keys

No darkness will be as warm as the primeval emptiness
No poison will be as widespread as the Serpent's Chant

How not to pronounce the memories of the dead again?
How can we not drink from the life of the living?
We are those who in unison accompanied the somber chant

In seven kingdoms I lie with the lady of dreams
I wait for the devil to come.
And recite the serpent's chant

When the sun turns black and the universe freezes
Your voice will echoe as your glorious chant
The screams of agony will be the choral of freedom

The sound of the stars dying will be the trumpets of death
And the cry of angels will be never heard
They will be tortured till the sun reborn

No darkness will be as warm as the primeval emptiness
No poison will be as widespread as the Serpent's Chant

How not to pronounce the memories of the dead again?
How can we not drink from the life of the living?
We are those who in unison accompanied the somber chant

In seven kingdoms I lie with the lady of dreams
I wait for the devil to come.
And recite the serpent's chant
