Night and Day

I followed the drums and the guitars
I listened for the music of the moon (A motion)
And heard the silence of the sun (Are you listening?)
A tune of night and day (Set in stone)
The return has now begun (I'm gone)

A prophet of the land
A child of the sky
It was never seen again
Taken away from my eyes
And the voice that I had heard
Was coming from beyond
But without another word
With silence, it was gone
