I knew this day would come my friends
When all our ends become our means
These words that I have written down
They no longer do much for me
And you you've done your best to hide
The slowly rising stench of slime

But it's failing
We're sinking
And I cant catch my breath
From nothing to something to nothing once again

And through these ever changing tides
We grew our sense of community ties
And grew our share and noticed why
These things that plague us do so try to
Enter in and exit out
With more than just a sense of doubt
And drugs and girls and death and life
Return to the start continuing to fight
Nothingness and Loneliness
And stench of rotting ignorance
The choices were
Her's and his and ours alone
And he can't seem to break
From all the things he did yesterday
His warming heart was nothing but a farce from the start

But it's failing
We're sinking
And we gave all that we had
And I've done all that I could
