Sand

One day we will all be Sand

Yeah, all the sand between my feet is feeling too ironic
Every time I think about it got me feeling microscopic
All these broken pieces broken up by water tossing
Making something beautiful we won't even wear our socks in
Yeah, placed here perfectly by water faucets
Then we box it try to keep the track of time allotted
Maybe we are crazy, just a little too psychotic
Maybe we're a newer rocket though, or supersonic
Or maybe we're just way too focused on all of our progress
Or maybe it's my studio creating food for thought its
Amazing all these broken down thrown around processed
Rocks fill up all the hourglasses everybody's lost it

Just soak in what you can, won't get another chance
Feel it sifting through our hands, one day we will all be Sand

Yeah, I soak it in it's a lot to process
Rising falling tide, a rhythm that is constant
Horizon in the eyes like ones we lost who sought it
Settling in all our memories but not forgotten
How can something made of glass be so soft in masses?
A timing mechanism when it's stuck inside our glasses
A combination of our molecules, eves and atoms
Keeping track of everything that's being as the season passes
Every living creatures looking for a reason that this
Miracle of life has purpose cuz we need to have one
Like every particle between our feet when reimagined
Is the only universe's proof that even we can last it

Just soak in what you can, won't get another chance
Feel it sifting through our hands, one day we will all be Sand
Just soak in what you can, won't get another chance
Feel it sifting through our hands, one day we will all be Sand
One day we will all be Sand

I feel like this is kinda backwards
Everybody separately is fighting battles
If we stay separated though we're tiny gravel
But if we stick together we're a giant castle
It's funny how we keep the track of time in capsules
Depending how you're looking you can find it half full
Or maybe we can break it, the rhythm and the glass too
It's only natural 'cause time is fragile

Just soak in what you can, won't get another chance
Feel it sifting through our hands, one day we will all be Sand
Just soak in what you can, won't get another chance
Feel it sifting through our hands, one day we will all be Sand
