Reliving The Past
On tonight's news at 7:00,
Two teenage boys seen stealing a Time Machine
Da bois have yet to have been identified,
And they still be on the loose.
Red Cox, on the beat
Went to that store named Home Depot, had to buy supplies
Steal myself a Time Machine and say all my goodbyes (My goodbyes)
To the life in the present
Go back and relive my adolescence
When I got in found something unpleasant
It was a pretty night and the moon was crescent
But something was wrong
I sat there singing a song
It was story about old Mr. Crommet
Brit Vs brat, and hoping that I make a profit
Then this story begins
I kicked a rock in just a couple of mins
My past self saw the new one from the ma-chine
Then a portal just formed right in between
There was an alien and his skin was glowing green
I don't remember this when I was a small teen
I told my past self: get into that metal box
When I asked what he's doing, he said: Red Cox
Typed in a year, and changed it back to my time
Change up the story and I change up all the timeline
When we got home, we made it back without a trace
I told my past self and he said: did we go to space?
I wrote a song with this, same story, same place
I made a hidden bunker for this story, just in case
I could take you there, the drive's a couple hours
It's in a side alley, near a couple towers
It's on the right, and it's just next to the front door
There is a secret compartment under the tile floor
We can hide there until this story's over
And if we need escape, I always got a rover
We stayed there for 30 days and 30 nights
We always got along, he never got in any fights
Got in the Time Machine, I took him back to his past
He said some words to me and they were his very last
He said: the story isn't over, he will come back
Make sure you always pay attention so you can attack
