The Light

As I Embrace the End

An irresistible calling dances in my head
From the astral body, made of fiery red
Source of life, it will devour this world
As a dramatic opposite of a black hole

No one escapes from the order of things
And how we are connected through its strings
The Ancient Ones had this notion
And accepted Fate without emotion

Such ungrateful beings many of us are
Just microscopic cells, neither close or far
From everything and nothing
Among billions of stars, dead or sparking

The time has come for my final goodbye
I shall embrace the end, no reason to cry
I close my eyes, stepping out into the sunlight
Which will release me from this eternal night...
