The View From My Tank

I swim around a room with no walls
Everyday I come around the same full circle
They tap on the glass, smile and laugh
I feel so small and so purple

My rocks and my plants
My hate and romance
Don't care what she says but I'd kick the bucket if I had legs

Living in a bowl
Feeling like I should have known
A waiting room mascot
But I got everything I want

In and out of my castle
It's all brand new to me
I can't remember how I feel so I live happily
I make new friends everyday, the old ones never stay
Surrounded by the water I breathe, why would I want to leave?

My rocks and my plants
My hate and romance
Don't care what she says but I'd kick the bucket if I had legs

Living in a bowl
Feeling like I should have known
A waiting room mascot
But I got everything I want
Living in a bowl
Feeling like I should have known
A waiting room mascot
But I got everything I want

Bring me to the predator that preys
On me so I can make his day
Put me in an open field and stay
To watch me struggle and suffocate
