Poems Like Her

Summertime came with a bang this yesterday
Summer comes in time to serve a whole new way
Your clementines are drying out in the sunshine rays
No need to cry, your water's not running anyway

You bounced
I turned and found another place
You cry for no reason
You travel without a trace

I heard some burden is coming down to tell you truth
Maybe there really is a way out of this hopeless youth
Across 50 states of mind I'm sure it's nothing new
As long as we can walk the same line, I'll stay confused

You bounced
I turned and found another place
You cry for no reason
You travel without a trace
I burned, you turned
As we watched the sun go down

Oh, I can't see
I'm blinded by some misery
Oh, I cannot see

You bounced
I turned and found another place
You cry for no reason
You travel without a trace
I burned, you turned
As we watched the sun go down
I learned that poems like her is never read if it is never found
I learned that kingdoms like her are nothing without a crown
