I KNOW HOW IT FEELS (to feel this way)

I have heard how good it feels
Just to be in love with a woman
And how it feels
Just to wrap your arms around her
When your heart beats so heavy
Just to be beside her
I know how it feels to feel that way

But I did not know until one day
When I looked into her eyes
And I knew what I was looking for
She was all that mattered
In my life anymore
Now I can say
I know how it feels to feel that way

I understand how it feels
To be alone but still in love with a woman
You feel depressed and you just don not care
If you die or live another day
You think of her day and night
She is the only thing on your mind
I know how it feels to feel that way

But I did not know until one day

The preacher said how good it feels
When you know the perfect love is Jesus
He can pick you up and dust you off
And make you feel so very strong
When it feels like you been torn apart
No one cares about your broken heart
Jesus knows how it feels to feel that way
