Never Rising Sun

Failure and ruin are part of my life
Chaos, torpor and devastation darken my vision
I'm able to run but the ground is collapsing under my steps
And that means nothing to me
My place is frozen and my sun never rises
But that means nothing, nothing to me
My body's dry
My blood doesn't run
My muscles are like these ruins
The sound of my cracking bones rings out
But pain doesn't reach me
My tongue oozed black dust alike the one filling the air
I am like these ruins
I'm able to run but the ground is collapsing under my steps
And that means nothing to me
My place is frozen and my sun never rises
But that means nothing, nothing to me
One second or one century?
How long will I have to bear this?
I'm now a stranger to this place
They took all of it and made it their own image
Am I even still alive?
Or only the reflection of this living hell?
Horror parade and abuse trap me in a
Nameless inside rebellion and anger
Only my body remains painless, as my spirit burns
At the thought of seeing them rot
Of seeing them rot
Yet I can't stop thinking: how can I pull through this?
