High Tea

On the ships nearby
People often wondered why
Her ship was painted blue
And the sea smelled funny and a bit like glue
Her ship's rail so high
She could only see the sky
And so she met this bird
With lush blue feathers and a voice unheard

And they loved High Tea
And they loved Chablis
And she loved all the words he said
And he loved to put them in her head

And as weeks went by
Dusky clouds piled up the sky
They made her world turn grey
No she wasn't sure if he should stay
Her head full of doubt
So he raised his eyespots honking proud
And though feathers flew
She grabbed blue paint and a tube of glue

Cause she loved High Tea
And she loved Chablis
But most of all she loved the sky
The color blue and feeling high

And they loved High Tea
And they loved Chablis
And she loved all the words he said
And he loved to put them in her head
And they loved High Tea
And they loved Chablis
But most of all they loved the sky
The color blue and feeling high
And they loved High Tea
And they loved Chablis
And she loved all the words he said
And he loved to put them in her head
