Consigned To Oblivion

Thoughts long erasing the boundary
Perpetual haze deludes what I see

So cruel is time towards my soul
Abandoned, forgotten, to means my own

I bear scars of a life, from when I do not know
This place I now reside, 'til Death revokes my trace
No visitor bestows, veiled presence grace my eyes
What eon long enough, to weather my disdain?

A vacant blessing, an extension to creation
Vessel now motionless, withdrawn perceptions dear
Confusion dominates, the pulse drives me to anger
The tide drifts by, the plane retreats and fades forever

I rise beyond the confines of my breath
Transcend the within to comprehend my fate
The scepters laugh, pitch sand, and mock my sight
They force me back, I awake to a room bathed in white
Behind disguised masks my aggressors advance
To restrain my battered frame, lo, one serpent interjects
"Your eyes deceive, behold no legion you're privy
You departed long ago to sail the mind's I
Without end"

Alone I stand
Shunned from the light
Combing shadows forever in vain
Who watches from afar
As my voice litters the sky of this world?
No one hears
